FYI -

 * Please plan on reaching the venue by 9AM (check-in closes at 9:30 AM)

 * Please commit to staying for the entire tournament or at least until your games are done. Forfeiting games for anything other than

    - an emergency

    - due to a commitment that was conveyed to organizers in advance, 

can lead to a temporary ban from participating in the next 3 tournaments.

* Participants coming late to any game will be considered to have lost that game with 0-25, 3 boards.

CANCELLATION POLICY -

 * The entry fee is non-refundable.

 * You will be issued a tournament credit towards your next tournament ONLY IF you inform the organizers 7 days before the tournament date, i.e. 16th March, 2024

FORMAT -
* Up to 16 team, played on up to 8 boards

* Up to 4 SRR rounds of 1 game each. 

* Top 4 teams after SRR will move on to Champions Knockouts (KO), the next 4 will move to Challengers Knockouts, the next 4  to Enthusiast Knockouts, and the last 4 to Amateurs Knockouts.

* KO will consist of Semi Finals & Finals. 

* All games will be played to 25 points/8 boards/45 minutes (whichever happens earlier).

* Semi Finals & Finals will be Best Of 3 games.

PAIRING CONSTRAINTS -
* The combined rating of the pair should not exceed 2800 (ratings as of 1st Mar 2024)
* All BACA ratings are published at - https://bayareacarromassociation.org/ratings
* New players get a tentative BACA rating of 1100
